Cloud Computing has matured into a viable, accessible and cost-effective IT resource.  Once adopted, the traditional approach to service management may need to be reviewed.

Speakers

Dan McCarthy (Senior Operations Consultant, Microsoft) and Ryan Joseph (Service Manager, Your Business Online)

Dan McCarthy is a Senior Operations Consultant working with Microsoft Services Singapore assisting organizations with all aspects of datacenter management and operations.  He has close to 20 years of experience in the services industry including technical specialist, programmer, project management, program management, and process consulting.  Dan has a BBA from Kent State University and a Masters in Information Technology from University of Maryland University College (US).  He is also an ITIL v2 Service Manager, ITIL v3 Expert, ISO 20000 Process Consultant, and PMP.

Prashant Ryan Joseph is a Service Manager with Your Business Online in Singapore.  He oversees Project & Service Management, being a link between the client and the developers. He has worked as a trainer and consultant to small businesses in Singapore for 4 years prior to joining YBO. Ryan has a Diploma in Mechatronics, and an Honours Degree from the University of London in Information Systems and Management.
