Executive Council

The Executive Council is the central steering and decision-making body of the chapter and provides the direction, strategy, governance and running of the national itSMF chapter in Singapore.

The 15th Annual General Meeting was held on 23rd January 2019 in accordance with the chapter constitution and a new team of member volunteers was elected to form the Executive Council for the term 2019/2020.



Garion Kong

Garion Kong is a technology professional with more than 16 years experience in IT operations management, regional service support and information systems security management. He has a keen interest in IT Service Management (ITSM), information systems security and a strong believer in continuous learning and Continuous Service Improvement.

By joining the itSMF Singapore chapter and volunteering as a council member, he hopes to help create more awareness on the importance of IT Service Management to organizations and individuals, the application and benefits of ITSM, career pathways and skills development for professionals and knowledge-sharing opportunities for IT and service management professionals in Singapore.

Garion holds a Bachelors degree in Business Information Technology. He has a passion for continuous learning and holds various professional certifications like ITILv3 Foundation, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CEH, Certified Virtualization Expert for VMware virtualization, MCTS for SQL Server and a Level 1 certificate in Book-keeping.

Garion has previously served the chapter in the capacity of Council Member-Web Services and Honorary Secretary.


Saurabh Lal

Saurabh is a hands-on senior executive known for strategic and focused approach, with extensive accolades for limiting risk, creating lean teams, and establishing creative strategies for optimizing internal operations, financial returns and external customer service and output.

Saurabh holds Master of Technology in Software Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS), MBA (Finance & IT) — Gold Medallist from Sardar Patel College of Comm. & Mgmt.

Saurabh is ITIL V3 Expert Certified, ITIL®, ITIL V2 Manager certified, ITIL®, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified, Certified SCRUM Master (CSM).



Ganesh Ramanathan

Ganesh is senior manager, working with CTC Global (Itochu Group, Japan). He has 18 years of experience in the IT services industry in the areas of managed services, vendor management, DC operations and project management. Ganesh holds an MBA with professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL Expert and ABCP.





Deepak Thirunavkarasu

Deepak Thirunavkarasu, has worked with notable companies including Cable & wireless Worldwide, UK & Nissan North America as a Change Manager. He is now working for NEC Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.

He holds a post graduate certificate on Communications Engineering from De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. He is certified in ITIL V3 Foundation and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate.

Having the passion for IT service management, Deepak believes that every organisation should implement the best practices as defined in ITIL for IT Service Management.

Being a member of ITSMF Singapore chapter Deepak would work along with the chapter to help achieve its goals.   


Marc Gong

Marc Gong has nearly 20-years professional experiences with project and operations engagements, working with business and IT executive teams. He has been taking leadership position in defining priorities, drive continuous improvements, adopting Agile / Lean and IT operations service Management (ITSM). His work has a strong focus in user empathy, innovation, simplification with all stakeholders and across different line of businesses.



Meganaden Thanthanee

Meganaden has close to 12 years working experience and is currently at DFS as the Infrastructure Service Manager, handling various vendors to deliver infra managed services. Prior to this, he was the Problem Manager and Service Delivery Manager at Neurones-IT Asia Pte Ltd, also handling projects for his clients. He has a passion to deliver excellent IT Service using ITIL for an organization. In earlier roles, Meganaden has served as Support Manager, Team Leader and Application Support roles for banking and financial institutions. He is pursuing the ITIL Expert path and hopes to learn more from ITSM Forum Singapore Chapter experience. As a Council Member for Membership & Communication, he intends to increase the reach of itSMF Singapore and onboard more new members in the coming year and beyond.

Meganaden has graduated from SMU with a Master in IT with Business (MITB) in 2013 and has a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from NUS in 2006. He has also completed ITIL v2 Foundation, Intermediate Operational Support & Analysis and Release, Control & Validation certifications. He is also a native French speaker and is a crazy football fanatic


Sarbojit Madhab Bose

Sarbojit M. Bose, is an experienced and qualified Trainer with specialized in the areas of Cyber Security and Information System (IS) Security. He has accumulated over a decade of experience in the fields of Program and Project Delivery, IS Service Management, Risk assessment and mitigation, Audit and Compliance and IS Governance. He has over 26 years of ICT industry experience working with MNC Service Providers like HCL, HP, Tech. Mahindra, EDS, Dimension Data, T-Systems, etc. in India, USA, UK, South Africa, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and more nations in APAC region and AMEA. He started his career as a System Administrator and rose to the level of IT Manager in HCL in a span of 7 years. Later, he transitioned to the field of Project Delivery for the next 17 years. He established himself in the field of fulltime Trainer over the past 2 years. Along with his technical certification and industry experience he has been adding value to many learners. He is serving as the Cyber Security Trainer with NTUC LearningHub. Apart from designing and delivering courses, he has been adding value to the learner's life.

He had been actively involved with the PMI's Singapore Chapter for over past few years. He had served the Executive Board for 3 years as an elected member. He is also associated with other institutions like, ITSMF Singapore, ISACA Singapore, Cloud Security and DR Chapters of Singapore Computer Society of Singapore and Assessors and Institute of Adult Learning (IAL). His passion for enriching people, he enjoys speaking at events for professional.  


Karen Chua

Karen has been an IT Professional for nearly 20 years. She started as a software engineer involving in development projects before focusing on IT Service Management in 2002. She has many years of practitioner experience in ITIL® Process Implementation and Improvement. In particular, she set up a regional Service Desk and implemented several ITIL processes. Karen has worked with multinational corporations in various industries including government agency, Supply Chain, Banking & Finance, Education and Training & Consultancy. Karen has knowledge and expertise in a wide coverage of industry best practices across multiple disciplines. Needless to say, Karen has been an ITIL Expert for almost a decade. She is currently a Principal Consultant with ALC Group, where she is responsible for the business development, training and consultancy services in Singapore and the region. She has a keen interest in IT Service Management, DevOps, Organisational Change Management and more.

As a council member responsible for industry outreach, Karen hopes to use her passion and her experiences to create the environment for organisations to network, co-create, deliver and experience value leveraging on industry best practices, and inspire individual IT professionals to embark on a life-long continual learning journey.

Karen was previously involved in the initial years of the formation of the itSMF Singapore Chapter.


Anne-Lim Tan

Anne Lim-Tan has more than 2 decades of experience in the IT industry. During her 20+ years' tenure with IBM she was involved in positioning and implementing IBM technology solutions in industry segments such as Banking & Financial Services, Public Sector, Education, Transportation & Manufacturing. She also held various responsibilities in areas such as Strategic Account Management, Server Sales & Marketing, Segment Development and Channels Development & Management. Anne is currently Lecturer at Republic Polytechnic (School of Infocomm) where she hopes to share her real world experience with students and help them develop life skills.

Anne holds a Bachelors degree in Business and a Masters in Training and Development. She is ITIL V3 Expert Certified, ITIL V2 Manager certified, COBIT Foundation certified, Prince2 Foundation certified, Lean IT Foundation certified, ACTA Certified and a certified Career Coach.

She has served in several Council positions with itSMF SG Chapter since 2007.

A  successful IT leader with over 25 years of professional experience with passion towards service culture, standard process adoption and continual improvement combined with extensive experience working for multi nationals across time zones and diverse cultures delivering IT services in complex IT environments. Expert in building trust based relationships, managing change with stakeholders, promoting team morale and collaborative working style with a strong ability to influence people at all levels, resolve conflicts and deliver results on time under pressure.

 Vinay Jain

Vinay is a certified ITIL V3 Expert and has been in the IT field for over 18 years. He spent major part of his career with Thomson Reuters in Singapore, Mumbai and Sydney and then with Royal Bank on Scotland, Barclays and Citibank in Singapore. He is adept at managing & leading teams for running successful IT Support Process Operations; experienced in developing and enhancing processes, procedures and service standards for business excellence. He has worked in complex and challenging international and multi-cultural environments with experience in rendering support to a large customer base.

Vinay has been associated with itSMF Singapore for a number of years and has previously served the chapter in capacity of Council Member, Secretary, Vice President and President. He is currently the immediate Past President of the itSMF Singapore Chapter.


Rama Prasad Mamidi

Rama has 24 years of experience covering Service Management, Transition & Transformation Management, Delivery Assurance, Business Analysis, Training, Technical Support, and Software Development. He is now working with Gemalto, taking care of Program delivery and Operational efficiency and managing Service Improvement Programs etc. Earlier to this role, Rama also successfully implemented Incident, Problem and Change management process for Gemalto. He also worked with bluechip companies like IBM, CSC M1 Ltd.

Rama is currently Vice President for PMI Singapore Chapter, and was the Past President of itSMF Singapore Chapter.
