Dear Members, Partners and Associates,
The current itSMF Singapore Chapter Executive Council (EXCO) initiated a lengthy discussion this year on the future of the local itSMF chapter. The discussion culminated in the call for an Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) on 22nd November 2019 to call to a vote from the members on the proposed dissolution of the Singapore chapter. The EXCO secured a unanimous 2/3 majority vote from the members at the EOGM to vote in favor of the dissolution of the itSMF Singapore Chapter. The itSMF Singapore Chapter will be officially dissolved effective from 31st of December 2019.
Nevertheless, the spirit of the itSMF Singapore Chapter will not be lost. A DevOps/ITSM interest group will be formed under NTUC’s Tech Talent Assembly (TTAB) to continue the engagement with the itSMF members and the local ITSM community. Members interested to join the activities of the TTAB interest group can look forward to thought-leadership seminars on topics related to DevOps or IT Service Management and quarterly meetups for discussion and networking.
To find out more information about NTUC’s Tech Talent Assembly (TTAB) and joining in the activities of the DevOps/ITSM interest group (https://www.facebook.com/ntucttab), please email TTAB secretariat at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to continuing the engagement with you under the TTAB DevOps/ITSM interest group.
